We had a lovely stay at The Long Barn. It had everything we needed and the secure garden was perfect for our dogs. The welcome pack was much appreciated and was full of gorgeous treats for us and there was a tin of treats for the dogs as well so they were not left out. Aimee had thought of everything.
The kettle broke during our stay and Aimee sorted it out straight away and a replacement arrived the next day.

Wonderful vacation at The Long Barn. The property was spotlessly clean, comfy and very well-equipped. The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful, the private grounds were extremely well kept with amazing views including the Donkeys & Mules.
The area is central for travelling around local towns and villages with plenty of places to eat out if you so wish.
Thank you for letting us stay and we all look forward to visiting in the future

I stayed at The Long Barn for an early summer walking break. What a lovely spot, and the accommodation was fabulous, clean and generously equipped. The grounds are well kept and resident four hoofed neighbours were a daily treat too - inquisitive and very friendly.
The Hartland coast and Clovelly are in easy walking distance along country roads and the views are stunning, well worth the walk. Local towns and sandy beaches are a quick drive away too with plenty of parking when I visited mid-week.
Altogether a perfect, relaxing break. Thank you, I'll be back!

The Long Barn is an exceptionally good rental for a week's holiday. Lovely and clean on arrival, lots of helpful information in folders, including OS maps. Very forward thinking dog policy- bring a duvet cover if she sleeps on your bed. My spaniel loved the enclosed garden and nearby dog friendly coves and beaches. Spare dog bowls and treats available too.
The kitchen is fully equipped for a self catering stay including a freezer and washing machine. These are important extras as the nearest supermarkets are 14 miles away in either direction: Bude or Bideford.
The Barn was warm and comforting even during rough weather owing to the central heating and additional gasfire. Wonderful views towards the sea. The unenclosed garden would catch the evening sunshine.
Highly recommended for solo/ paired/ paired +1 holiday in a stunning area

What a beautiful peaceful retreat. Loved the donkeys that came to visit.
The barn is very clean and is well equipped with everything you need.
I would definitely recommend this place and we will return again in the future.
I can imagine the sunsets in the summer would be stunning.

We had a fabulous stay at The Long Barn for a birthday weekend. It is lovely cottage with wonderful views and had everything we needed to get away from it all for a few days. We spent some time exploring the beautiful local areas and a lot of time relaxing in the property, which was really cosy, even during a storm, with some of the best nights sleep we’ve had in a long time. It was perfect for us and our elderly dog. We had a lovely meal and the nearby Farmers Arms in Woolsery. Thank you for letting us stay in your special property, we will definitely be back again soon.

We loved our stay at The Long Barn. The cottage was homely, welcoming, warm and very well equipped. Everything we needed for our stay was to hand; good cooking facilities and kitchen equipment, hot, powerful shower, comfy beds and living areas. The private, enclosed garden was perfect for our dog whilst the open side of the garden with picnic bench made the most of the beautiful views over to Lundy and the Coast together with the gorgeous donkeys in the next field. The location was very quiet during our stay in early September and perfectly placed for walking the South West Coast Path. Aimee, our host, was a pleasure to deal with and responded very quickly to our general enquiries. I have no hesitation in recommending The Long Barn and would love to return in the future.
